Accessibility
You travel with your ABC metro ticket via line S1 (February 2023) out of the city towards Oranienburg. This is about 40 minutes from the center. You get off at the end station Oranienburg, after which you have the choice to continue by bus or on foot. You walk here for about 20-25 minutes via the public road (use google maps).
Entrance Fee
The entrance to Sachsenhausen is free. There are also guided tours for groups. For this you will have to consult the website, because in certain seasons there are no / fewer tours.
What’s to See?
On the grounds you can visit various remaining barracks, the guard post, a prison room, the mortuary cellar with associated research room and the crematorium (station-Z). Furthermore, the site is quite empty and you only see the place where the barracks once stood. - Buy an ABC subway ticket. You are traveling out of the city, so an AB ticket is not valid. With your ABC ticket you can also use the bus from Oranienburg station to Sachsenhausen.
