North America
North America is a vast and diverse continent and consists of more than the USA and Canada only. Sometimes, people use the term to refer only to these countries, however, several countries in Central America are also part of this region. The continent offers an impressive variety of landscapes, from the snowy peaks of the Rocky Mountains in Canada to the tropical beaches of Mexico. And what about the bustling city life in New York? Or the stunning natural beauty of the Grand Canyon?

Our Favorite Destinations
We travelled twice to North America and visited the western side of both the USA and Canada in one trip. Although we did see a lot during our trip, the countries simply are so gigantic that you cannot see everything in one visit. That’s why we went for a second visit to New York, Washington and Chicago. We mostly loved the beautiful scenery of the National Parks in the USA. Further, we visited Canada in winter, so we could experience winter sports in this country for once!
Besides the mainland we also visited two of the Hawaiian islands. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere on these remote islands!
Our Favorite Activities in North America
We mostly liked the big change in climate during our trip! While surfing during Christmas at the nice shoreline of Hawaii, we were skiiing in an arctic scenerey in Canada only a few weeks later!
