On this page you’ll find our Google Maps travel guides from all our destinations in Africa. We made a travel guide in Google Maps for all countries we visited, with nice spots to visit, beautiful hikes, our hotel recommendations and places to eat and drink.

All the guides we’ve made are based on our own experiences, so everything you’ll find in these maps are personally visited by ourselves, providing first hand information. Of course, it’s possible that something may have changed over time, so always double check and don’t get disappointed when something turns out to be a little different.

Our Google Maps Travel Guides Explained

The maps on this page are compatible in Google Maps. Simply send us a request and we’ll make sure you get access to the travel guide as soon as possible! In addition to marked locations, we also stored our hikes and cycling routes in the guides. So you could even follow one of our routes by using your location! We have divided our maps into five different categories.

Point of interest: You’ll find places we thought were worth stopping for. For instance, beautiful viewpoints, nice beaches, waterfalls or wildlife spotting.

Information: This list contains useful locations, like the location of an airport or a ferry terminal or where you can conveniently park your car.

Accommodation: We only marked the accommodation addresses we rated as okay to very good. Of course, we don’t want to burden you with our less favorable experiences!

Food & Drinks: We’re not big fans of dining out while traveling, but every now and then we do visit a restaurant, bar or coffee shop! Again, we only share our positive experiences on the map!

Scenic route: We love outdoor travel and nature! In this list, you’ll find all the beautiful hikes and cycling and driving routes we experienced ourselves!
